As I’m on a cooking journey as well as a fitness journey I’m trying out new foods and recipes from a variety of cooking books. This one is feta and pesto Cous Cous salad.
It was delicious. You just cook the Cous Cous as usual and add: pesto, feta cheese, spring onions, red peppers and cucumber.
I’m trying to eat better not only because I want to lose weight but I genuinely feel better when I eat healthier foods. Additionally, it does help with weight loss without having to obsess over counting calories which is oh so last decade.
Now I’m all about health and vitality. Yes I have a goal weight but yes it’s healthy. Yes I want to lose weight but I also want to be strong so I’m feeding my body with valuable nutrients and good food to benefit my overall health.
