On Bank Holiday Monday we went to Greenwich for the day which entails some fabulous street food options, that are real and whole. In addition to some great vegan treats being available also.
For lunch we shared this Chorizo stew with rice. It was delicious and so flavoursome. It wasn’t oily or fatty but delicious and filling. This was followed by some fabulous vegan slabs of cake (the portion were huge) from My Detox Diet Cafe, which was a whole food and vegan cafe/health food specialist shop.
I finally found somewhere to by BOUNCE energy balls – something I’ve fallen in love with since the Run with Hart Nike 10k in January. The seating area was very comfortable and quaint, much like the rest of Greenwich and it was a fabulous, albeit slightly chilly Easter Bank Holiday Monday.
I also went to my first legs, bums and tums class. It wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be, but I did realise how much I could benefit from some yoga session to loosen up and gain some flexibility into my health plan, which is great as I have my first yoga class tomorrow. Today I’m going to experience the world of kettle bells, in my first kettle bell class which I’m going to in the hope of gaining strength and conditioning.
